Isaiah 45: 2-3

Oh, the comfort in experiencing the "hidden wealth" in those "secret places" that leaves my heart assured it can be none other than my Father.

"I will go before you and make
the rough places smooth;
I will shatter the doors of bronze,
and cut through their iron bars,
And I will give you the treasures of darkness,
and hidden wealth of secret places,
in order that you may know that it is I,
the LORD, the God of Israel,
who calls you by your name."

Oh, the peace and rest I find today in knowing that He calls me by name.

More Movement Up

With 78 days on the official "waiting list," we are now listed as 4th in line. Most days it is pretty easy to wait and be patient in the Lord's timing ... and then there are those days I check my email 20 times to see if there is any new information about referrals: my moments of weakness and desperation to know who and where she is. How do you miss someone so much you haven't even met yet?

Movin' Up

We were informed there were a couple of infant boy referrals this month, so we've inched our way up the waiting list and now hold the 6th position in line. We've been on the waitlist for 43 days so far. Fun to see movement in the program with the referrals. All six families at the front of the line are waiting for infant/toddler girls, so we need a surge of little girls!
